I never had the pleasure of meeting Harald. However, I have had the pleasure of his son Markus' friendship for many years now. Given the kind and empathetic person Markus is, I can only assume that both Harald and Markus' mother (whose name I don't know but who passed away before I met Markus) must have been special people and managed to get the parenting part of life mostly right. As a father of three, I know how difficult this is - and so they have my respect. They also have my thanks for raising the person who became my friend. I wish the family special comfort now, with Harald's passing.
